It’s impossible to pin down Fred Mollin! Ranked among America’s premier composers, producers and musicians, his career dates back to the mid-1970s, with his earliest productions. 
You’ve heard him soundtracking such television series as Beverly Hills 90210, Friday The 13th-The Series, Hard Copy, The Outer Limits, Forever Knight and movies including the Friday the 13th Part 7 and Part 8.
His career took its first mega successful turn with Dan Hill (the yacht rock classic “Sometimes When We Touch”), and led to an illustrious run ever since, producing artists such as Jimmy Webb, Kris Kristofferson, America, Kristin Chenoweth, Johnny Mathis, Bill Medley, JD Souther as well as producing iconic duets with Billy Joel, Michael McDonald, Willie Nelson, Natalie Cole, Gloria Estefan, Chris Cornell to name just a few.
In a wonderful juxtaposition, there is Mollin's work in the world of children’s music, beginning with his co-creation, back in 1983, of the Juno Award winning children’s musical group, The Rugrats. He followed that with a dazzling stream of instrumental lullaby albums recorded for Disney in the early 2000s, among them such Billboard Kid Album chartbusters Disney's Lullaby Album and Disney's Princess Lullaby Album.
Released on streaming services in May of this year, but making its physical debut on CD on October 16, Sweet Dreamers adds Mollin's original compositions to the world of lullabies.
And while it was specifically recorded for the youngest ear drums, these meditative musical pieces are sure to bring an aura of calm and serenity to the entire family!
Mollin says, "After producing and arranging the Disney lullaby albums, which have gone on to have a wonderful life all over the world, I decided I would do an album of my own compositions. All the pieces are designed to help the little ones drift off to sleep, and possibly the caregivers too!"
