It’s been four long years since producer/musician D-Punk unleashed DK-Zero’s last album, Cyber Sex Inc, a tempestuous sonic storm that both recaptured the spirit of classic Ministry, NIN and White Zombie, and pushed tumultuously forward from there.
Now DK-Zero stand on a whole new musical frontier, refining the signature sound even further, while looking back, too, to the band’s 2018 debut album From Nothing . But fresh and dynamic “club mixes” of album stalwarts “Invasion of the Zeroz,” “Blood & Violence,” “Won’t Get Out” and “Slave Like You” do not merely recapture those old favorites. D-Punk’s complex web of digitized mayhem wholly reinvigorates and reinvents them.
