Presented in authentic white-label style packaging with a hand-numbered sleeve card and poly bag, this remarkable 12-inch single features two stunning Angel covers: on side A, an alternate version of Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow’s “Lady Of The Lake,” as originally heard on the compilation Ride The Rainbow - The Ultimate Tribute to Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow; on side B, a thunderous near-six minute take on Deep Purple’s “Woman From Tokyo.”
"Rainbow were a great band," says Angel legend Punky Meadows, "Angel had the opportunity to play some shows with Rainbow back in the day, and it was awesome!”
Aside from sharing concert bills with Rainbow, continues frontman Frank Dimino, "We also rehearsed next to each other in the Gower lot, so doing this song brought back great memories!! Plus I love Ronnie James Dio’s voice, so singing and recording 'Lady of the Lake' was a lot fun for me!!!”
