Dangerous Toys is a rock band from Austin, Texas, known for their humorous lyrics and high-energy performances. Formed in 1987, the band achieved mainstream success with their self-titled debut album in 1989, which featured the hits “Teas’n, Pleas’n” and “Scared.” The album was certified gold by the RIAA. Although their subsequent albums, Hellacious Acres (1991) and Pissed (1994), didn't achieve the same level of success, they were well-received by fans. The band has continued to perform live over the years, maintaining a loyal following. Despite not releasing new material since 1995, Dangerous Toys remains active, with ongoing live performances and a potential new album in the works.
