Motörhead
Motörhead was a legendary British rock band formed in 1975 by bassist, vocalist, and rock icon Lemmy Kilmister. Fusing elements of punk, rock, and heavy metal, Motörhead became one of the most influential bands in the history of hard rock and metal. Their loud, fast, and aggressive style laid the groundwork for speed metal and thrash metal. The band’s iconic albums, like Overkill (1979), Ace of Spades (1980), and No Sleep 'til Hammersmith (1981), are celebrated for their relentless energy and signature sound, driven by Lemmy’s distinctive gravelly voice and thundering bass lines. Known for their “everything louder than everyone else” ethos, Motörhead’s music and attitude defined the rebellious spirit of rock ‘n’ roll. Despite lineup changes and challenges, the band remained active until Lemmy’s passing in 2015, solidifying their legacy as one of rock’s most enduring and influential acts.
