GBH, originally known as Charged GBH, is an influential English punk rock band formed in 1978 in Birmingham. Pioneers of the UK82 street punk movement, GBH is renowned for their aggressive sound and politically charged lyrics. Their debut album, City Baby Attacked by Rats (1982), and its follow-up City Babys Revenge (1983) are considered classics in the punk genre. Over the years, GBH's raw energy and steadfast dedication to their punk roots have earned them a dedicated following worldwide, influencing a wide range of bands from metal to punk. Despite lineup changes, the band continues to tour and release new music, with their latest album Momentum released in 2017 on Hellcat Records.
