This concept album makes a powerful statement about societal changes. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, happiness rained down from the sky, said Mandoki. We had every opportunity to shape a society where people truly stood at the center. Instead, we are experiencing the primacy of selfishness and greedy casino capitalism, extreme social inequality, and an irreversibly destroyed environment. There is much to be done for the next generation of young rebels, who must take to the streets today because of our collective failure!

Musically, the Soulmates put everything on the line, showcasing the best of what the crème de la crème of jazz and rock has to offer. Great musical moments, captivating improvisations, wonderful soundscapes, and unbridled joy in playing.

10 new Soulmates songs plus two songs where the Soulmates play to archival tapes with their late founding member Jack Bruce, bringing him back into their midst once more. CD2 is an ambitious 47-minute prog rock suite "Hungarian Pictures" based on themes by Béla Bartók with new compositions and included songs. Mandoki had envisioned this project with Greg Lake of ELP years ago.
