Anti-Flag
Anti-Flag was an American punk rock band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, formed in 1988 and known for their fierce left-wing political activism. The band, featuring Justin Sane, Chris Head, Pat Thetic, and Chris No. 2, gained popularity in the punk underground before signing with RCA Records for their major label debut For Blood and Empire in 2006. Known for politically charged songs like “The Press Corpse” and “This is the End (For You My Friend),” Anti-Flag released thirteen albums throughout their career. They also operated their own label, A-F Records. The band suddenly disbanded in July 2023 following serious allegations against Justin Sane, with the remaining members condemning his actions and ceasing all operations.
