JetBoy is an American glam metal band that emerged from the vibrant San Francisco rock scene in the mid-1980s. Known for their high-energy performances and a sound that blends hard rock, punk, and glam influences, JetBoy quickly gained attention with their raw, streetwise style. Fronted by vocalist Mickey Finn and led by guitarist Billy Rowe, the band made waves with their debut album Feel the Shake (1988), which became a fan favorite during the peak of the glam metal era. Despite being contemporaries of bands like Guns N’ Roses and Poison, JetBoy’s mix of sleaze and swagger set them apart. Although they faced challenges due to shifting musical trends, JetBoy has maintained a loyal following and continues to perform and release new music, carrying forward the legacy of classic glam and hard rock.
