The seminal 1999 album from notorious Chicago punk rock rebels Apocalypse Hoboken! Includes the band's best known song "Congested" plus "Little Fingers" and lots more! Apocalypse Hoboken was a popular Chicago punk band that reached the height of their success in the late 1990s. They started as high schoolers around 1987 and played on and off as late as 2018.
An album that shows once and for all that "the road" can do some fucked-up things to a guy. A definitive step away from the past, and into an uncertain future, this album was us rejecting all notions of what's "happening" in punk rock and emo and rock, etc., and getting back to why we play music in the first place. Recorded with Dave Trumfio (Pulsars) at King Size Sound Labs, "Microstars" is where we're at right now.. There are bits of everything we've ever done included, but now in the context of tighter song arrangements, some honest to goodness singing, and (gasp) keyboards on half the songs. Growing old gracefully?
