Die Idee, eine Sammlung großartiger Künstler aus dem Progressive-Rock-Genre auf einer Platte zu vereinen, fand ich besonders aufregend. Inspiriert begann ich, die 7 Songs zu schreiben und aufzunehmen, aus denen dieses Album werden sollte. Dann schickte ich diese Aufnahmen an einige meiner Freunde und musikalischen Helden von Bands wie King Crimson, XTC, Asia, Gentle Giant und natürlich meiner ehemaligen Band Yes. Bald erhielt ich Gesangsspuren sowie Gitarren- und Keyboard-Overdubs aus Studios aus aller Welt, die ich dann in meinem Aufnahmestudio in Los Angeles mischte. Trotz der geografischen Entfernungen ist das Gefühl der gesamten Produktion jedoch das einer musikalischen und spirituellen Einheit - The Prog Collective! - Billy Sherwood
