Samiam's very first 1989 recordings finally available here as part of the 20th Anniversary reissue series. This release originally came out on Bay Area stalwart indie label, Lookout! Records in 1990. An excellent, perfect peek into the window of the Berkeley/Gilman Street underground punk scene of the time. "I Am" captures the band in early form, played with a truthfulness of the time. This is the sound of the Samiam's youthful energy, and the feeling that anything is possible. Limited to 1,000 copies.
