Vains of Jenna formed in Falkenberg Sweden in 2005. By the summer of 2006, the band had relocated to Hollywood CA and self-released their full length debut Lit Up Let Down. A month later Bam Margera, professional skateboarder and star of the MTV hit show Viva La Bam, signed them to his Filthy Note label and reissued the disc in the Fall. To date, the debut has sold roughly 15K copies. In 2007, the band toured the US with Poison, Ratt, GWAR, Murderdolls & Cradle of Filth, playing upwards of 200 shows. The band also appeared at SXSW in Austin Texas, Hempfest in Seattle & the Sunset Strip Music Festival in Hollywood in 2008. In 2009 the band released the critically acclaimed disc The Art of Telling Lies followed by tours in Sweden, Italy, Norway, France, Germany, The UK, Czech Republic, Argentina, Brazil & America. VoJ has also appeared on MTV's Bam's Unholy Union, Jackass 24 & TLC s L.A. Ink with Kat Von D. In 2010, the group s music was used on Bam's World Domination show on Spike TV. The band can also be seen in recent books by Bam Margera, Kat Von D & legendary rock photographer Neil Zlozower as well as magazines such as Spin, Hustler, Metal Edge, Revolver and more!
